Hanbay's valve calculator is a tool used to determine the appropriate valve flow coefficient (Cv) for your application. Input your parameters in the fields below to calculate your Cv based on required flow, or vice versa. The valve Cv is a measurent of a valve's capacity for handling liquid or gas flow. Once the Cv is determinded, a valve can be chosen which will be able to meet the required flow for each particular application.
